Directions to the Miller Center

 

From Grounds by Car (1/2 mile)

Take Ivy Road (Route 250) west. At the light just after the light at Alderman Road, bear right onto Old Ivy Road and go under the railroad bridge. The Miller Center is the first drive on the right. 

By University Bus

Take the Northline Connector (formerly the Blue Line) to North Grounds. Get off at the Faulkner Residence stop near Klockner Stadium on Massie Avenue. Walk up Faulkner Way and turn left just before the first white house. You will be in Miller Center's back parking lot. Circle around the building and enter up the stairs in the center of the building.

From the North and Washington, D.C.

From Washington, D.C. the trip to Charlottesville is 110 miles. Take 66 West to Route 29 South (at the Gainesville Exit). Take Route 29 into Charlottesville's city limits. Just past Hydraulic Road, get into the far right lane. Take the exit for 250 West and 29 South Bypass.

Go past the exit for Barracks Road. Take the next exit (which is indicated by small, white signs) for Route 601 to Ivy. Take the second left just before the railroad bridge onto Old Ivy Road. Go .7 miles and turn left at the Miller Center sign. It will be the last possible turn before the railroad overpass.

From the East and Southeast

Take 64 West to Charlottesville, exiting at 118-B onto the Route 29 North bypass. Take the second exit (250 E). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto 250 East (also called Ivy Road). At the first traffic light, turn very sharply left onto Old Ivy Road. Go under the train overpass. The Miller Center is the first driveway on the right.

From the West and Southwest

Take 81 North to 64 East via exit 221 toward Richmond. Merge onto route 29 N. via exit 118-B. Once on 29 N. take the second exit (250 East). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto 250 East (also called Ivy Road.) At first traffic light make a very sharp left onto Old Ivy Road. Go under the train overpass. The Miller Center is the first driveway on the right.

From the South

Take 29 N. toward Charlottesville, exiting at 250 East. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto 250 East (also called Ivy Road). At first traffic light make a very sharp left onto Old Ivy Road. Go under the train overpass. The Miller Center is the first driveway on the right.
