Nancy H. Parsons is Director of External Relations and Special Assistant to Governor Baliles, focusing on promoting the Miller Center nationally and leading the Major Gifts efforts for the Miller Center Foundation. Nancy was formerly Deputy Director of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, where she was in charge of Development and Membership for the Museum. She was previously President and CEO of the National Sporting Library and Art Museum in Middleburg, VA. Prior to joining the National Sporting Library, Nancy managed the Major Gifts program for Monticello in its $100 million capital campaign, and held senior level positions at UVA at the Darden School and in the University’s Regional Development Office, where she managed the New York and Chicago campaigns. She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College and a native of Lynchburg, Virginia.
