Donald Hodel (1985 - 1989): Secretary of the Interior

Donald Paul Hodel was born on May 23, 1935, and received his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. In the Reagan administration, Hodel served as secretary of energy (1982-1985) and as undersecretary and then secretary of the interior (1985-1989). He founded and is now managing director of the Summit Energy Group companies and is on the board of Integrated Electrical Services, Inc. and Salem Communications Corporation.
