New York Times White House correspondent JACKIE CALMES—who covered national economic policy for many years before moving to her present assignment in March, 2010—has watched first the Bush Administration and then the Obama Administration cope with the economic crisis. Ford Journalism Prize for Reporting on the Presidency in 2005, reported in Washington for the Wall Street Journal from 1990 to 2008.
