Politics & History
About Us
The Politics and History Section was established to foster greater interchange among scholars with an interest in the historical and developmental aspects of political inquiry. The Section elects officers, organizes panels for the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association, and publishes a newsletter, Clio. The Section also confers recognition for distinguished scholarship. The J. David Greenstone prize is awarded annually to the best book published the previous calendar year in the area of politics and history. The Mary Parker Follett prize is awarded annually to the best article published the previous calendar year in the area of politics and history.
