President Carter Negotiating the Camp David Accords

President Jimmy Carter met with President Anwar Sadat of Egypt, left, and Prime Minister Menachim Begin of Israel, right, at Camp David in September 1978. Carter invited the two leaders to negotiate terms of a peace agreement between their two nations. The Camp David Accords were probably Carter's greatest foreign policy achievement.
