President Clinton’s Cabinet

During his 1992 campaign, Clinton promised to form a cabinet “that looked like America.” He appointed women to several important posts including Madeleine Albright as Secretary of State and Janet Reno as Attorney General. President Clinton also named several African Americans and Hispanics to the Cabinet including Ronald H. Brown as Secretary of Commerce and Frederico Peña as Secretary of Transportation.
