Thomas Eagleton

Thomas F. Eagleton, a Democratic senator from Missouri for many years and the 1972 Democratic vice presidential candidate for just a couple of weeks, was forced off the ticket after revelations that he had undergone electroshock treatment for depression. In this clip, advisor Clark MacGregor and H.R. ("Bob") Haldeman (White House Chief of Staff) discuss the situation and President Nixon's response.
