Historian Stacy A. Cordery is the author of three books on the Roosevelts. She taught at East Carolina University after earning her Ph.D. in U.S. history in 1992. Now a full professor at Monmouth College, she teaches modern U.S. history, women's history, and interdisciplinary studies. Cordery has volunteered in several capacities for H-Net (www.h-net.org) and is the web bibliographer for the National First Ladies Library.
