Third Milstein Symposium to Focus on Infrastructure and the Middle Class

New and emerging technologies hold the promise of a better-connected, more efficient, and “smarter” national infrastructure system, which directly benefits the middle class through job creation. This symposium, the third in a series focusing on creating the jobs of the future in its first year, will convene experts to identify a sufficient and sustainable infrastructure funding model to keep goods and people moving safely and efficiently and to support the projects required to keep the system functioning optimally. Former Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood and former Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa will co-chair the commission, slated to be held in the fall.
