Description: David Albright president of the Institute for Science and International Security (ISI), directs the project work of ISIS, heads its fundraising efforts, and chairs its board of directors. He regularly publishes and conducts scientific research. He has written numerous assessments of secret nuclear weapons programs throughout the world and been a member of inspection teams. He has the reputation of complete objectivity and selflessness. He cooperated actively with the IAEA Action Team from 1992 to 1999 following an analysis of Iraqi documents and past procurement activities. From June 1996, he was the first non-governmental inspector of the Iraqi nuclear program questioning members of Iraq?s former uranium environment programs. He is a foremost authority on enriched uranium and fissile material control.
