Gustav Niebuhr was formerly a national columnist, writing articles for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Today he is a visiting fellow and scholar in residence at the Center for the Study of Religion at Princeton University. He is the son of the late Yale theologian Richard Niebuhr.
