Description: Timothy J. Naftali, director of the Miller Center's Presidential Recordings Program, is the author of Blind Spot: The Secret History of American Counterterrorism. Naftali was a consultant to the 9-11 Commission. Effective October 16, 2006, he will become the first director of the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California.
