Description: Chief Economist, Federal Farm Board, 1929-31. Davis worked with Hoover on the Supreme Economic Council in Paris and gives an extensive account Hoover. Davis's relationship with Hoover was somewhat strained, eventually leading to Hoover's request for Davis to resign.
