Served on the second Hoover Commission, 1953-55. As former chairman of the Democratic National Committee and postmaster general under Roosevelt, Farley was at odds with Hoover until he worked on the Commission. Despite their earlier differences, Farley describes Hoover as a man he both respected and admired. In this lengthy interview he discusses, amongst other topics, Hoover's relations with Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy.
