Administrative Assistant to the state director of the Texas National Youth Administration (1935-1937); Deputy State Administrator (1937-1942). Involved in broadcasting, Austin, Texas (1946-1965). Discusses his long and close friendship with Lyndon Johnson and his role at the Interstate Commerce Commission beginning in 1965 and through the time of the interview in 1969.
