Date: February 4, 1976
Democratic Representative from Texas (1929-1976) who discusses his long association with Lyndon B. Johnson. Chairman of the Banking and Currency Committee (1963-1975). Known for his attacks on the power of large commercial banks and the policies of the Federal Reserve Board.
