Discusses his work on the White House Communications Agency beginning with Kennedy?s inauguration to the presidency. Additionally Stoughton comments on the experience of working and traveling with President Kennedy and Vice President Johnson. He addresses events surround the assassination of President Kennedy and his role in taking pictures of Lyndon B. Johnson taking the oath of office aboard Air Force One, as well as Johnson?s mental condition and his role in the events of the days shortly following the assassination. In the second interview, discusses the dynamics of his work in general and addresses alterations in his work under President Johnson, as well as his involvement in the events of the Johnson Administration --- such as the Democratic National Convention and Johnson?s presidential campaign of 1964. Also he addresses the causes of his reassignment, and the official portrait of President Johnson taken by him.
