Description: Reverend J. Bryan Hehir is the president of Catholic Charities USA, the national network of Catholic charities in the United States. Prior to assuming this position, Father Hehir served as Professor of the Practice in Religion and Society at Harvard Divinity School and as faculty associate at Harvard?s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs from 1993 to 2001. He also served as dean of the Divinity School from 1998 to 2001. Before joining the Harvard faculty, he was the Joseph P. Kennedy Professor of Christian Ethics in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
