Description: Michael Farris, president of Patrick Henry College in Leesburg, Virginia, is a lawyer and minister who has published nine non-fiction books and three novels, all exploring Christian themes. He founded the College "to prepare Christian men and women who will lead our nation and shape our culture with timeless biblical values and fidelity to the spirit of the American founding" and "to aid in the transformation of American society." Of the college's 61 graduates through the class of 2004, two have White House jobs, six have congressional staff jobs, eight are in federal agencies, and one assists Senator Rick Santorum in home-schooling his children.
