Description: Stuart Levey, Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Crimes, leads the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Secretary Levey directs the Treasury's efforts to cut the lines of financial support to international terrorists. In addition, he directs enforcement of economic sanctions and the ongoing hunt for Iraqi assets. Formerly a litigator with a special emphasis on white collar criminal defense in Washington, Levey holds undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard University.
