Dr. John Hutton examines his role as White House Physician during the second term of the Reagan administration. Hutton describes the role of the virtually unknown physician's office and his place among the White House staff organization. The major topics of discussion are health issues during the Reagan administration (the March 1981 assassination attempt, President Reagan's cancer surgeries and the possible invocation of the 25th Amendment, Nancy Reagan's battle with breast cancer), along with Reagan's ongoing struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
