Revisiting the George W. Bush presidency
George W. Bush’s presidency was shaped by major events such as the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the global war on terror, the Iraq War, and the economic crisis of 2008. To reflect on this era, the Miller Center brings together three key officials from his administration: Margaret Spellings, Domestic Policy Advisor and Secretary of Education; Joshua Bolten, Chief of Staff and Director of the Office of Management and Budget; and Stephen Hadley, National Security Advisor.
