Event Details

Please join us for an afternoon and evening honoring Edward L. Ayers as a scholar, teacher, and public intellectual. This event grows out of a small conference hosted by Professor Ayers’ graduate students and features two parts: First will be a panel discussion about the past, present, and future of digital history. Second will be a conversation in which Ayers will reflect on both his stellar career and the future of Southern history, digital history, and American history. This event is partially sponsored by the Miller Center and the University of Virginia Library.
