Eric Patashnik, Associate Professor of American Politics and Public Policy, University of Virginia
Patashnik is the author of Putting Trust in the U.S. Budget: Federal Trust Funds and the Politics of Commitment (Cambridge, 2000). His essays have appeared in Political Science Quarterly, Governance, Policy Sciences, P.S., Journal of Health Politics, Policy & Law, and elsewhere. Patashnik has been a research fellow at the Brookings Institution and previously held faculty positions at Yale University and UCLA. He is currently writing a book about the political sustainability of general-interest reforms that will be published by Princeton University Press. Patashnik received his Ph.D. from Berkeley in 1996.
