Blight and Lang co-direct critical oral history projects on the Cuban Missile Crisis, the collapse of U.S.-Soviet détente in the Carter-Brezhnev period, and the Vietnam War. They served as advisers to Errol Morris' Academy Award-winning documentary film, The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara.
