Patricia Lynch, a former United States ambassador to various African countries and personal friend to Mrs. Nixon, discusses Radio Free Europe in Prague. After briefly relating the history of RFE, Lynch explains the necessity of maintaining the program after the cold war?s conclusion lies in the need to address the undemocratic governments that remain in Central Europe. She addresses issues such as target audiences, language barriers, and budgeting problems.
