Norman Graebner is Randolph P. Compton Professor of History and Public Affairs Emeritus at the University of Virginia. In 1985 he was awarded the University?s highest academic recognition, the Thomas Jefferson Award. He has taught at numerous universities in the United States and abroad, and has held the Harold Vyvyan Harmsworth Professorship at Oxford University. For 25 years he has collaborated with Kenneth Thompson in teaching a graduate course on the Cold War.
