Michael Gardner is a communications policy lawyer in Washington, D.C. He serves as the pro bono chairman of the United States Telecommunications Training Institute (USTTI), a non-profit, international training initiative which he founded in 1982 while serving as U.S. ambassador to the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Gardner lectured for eight yeas as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where he taught a course on the Modern American Presidency. He will discuss his book Harry Truman and Civil Rights. A book signing will follow the Forum.When
