Dr. Bomba is the medical director for Geriatrics of Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Before joining Excellus, Dr. Bomba practiced and taught medicine for over twenty years. She has written extensively about compassionate, palliative care as well as other elder health issues. Her forum is part of our series on ?Aging Well in America: National Policy Dilemmas and Solutions?, which is being co-sponsored by the University of Virginia Health System?s Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care, and several community organizations.
