Brooke A. Masters, a fifteen year veteran at The Washington Post, is a New York-based reporter for the financial section. She has covered the trials of Martha Stewart, Bernard Ebbers, and Frank Quattrone. She is presently on leave writing a book about New York Attorney General Eliot A. Spitzer and his links to the Progressive movement of the early 20th century. She was executive editor of the Harvard Crimson.
