Howard Reiter, Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science, University of Connecticut
Howard Reiter specializes in American politics, with a focus on political parties and elections. He is a recipient of Choice Magazine's Outstanding Academic Books Award for his book, Selecting the President: The Nominating Process in Transition (1985). In 2001-2002, he held the Uppsala Chair in American Studies in Uppsala, Sweden, as part of the Fulbright Distinguished Chairs Program.
