Event Details
John M. Bridgeland is a former domestic policy advisors to President George W. Bush. Along with Karen Burke Morison and John J. DiIulio Jr., the three studied the 3.5 million Americans between the ages of 16 and 25 who have dropped out of school without a high school diploma. His report, commissioned by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, uses new data collected by Peter D. Hart Research Associates to conclude that this is a solvable problem. Bridgeland served as Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council and USA Freedom Corps.
