Event Details

Court TV news anchor Jack Ford has covered high-profile legal proceedings, including the trials of O.J. Simpson, Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, and Michael Jackson, since 1984. A respected trial attorney in private practice before he became a legal journalist and commentator, Ford was a three-year starter on the varsity football team at Yale who financed part of his graduate education at Fordham Law School with his winnings from the television quiz show Jeopardy. He was chief legal correspondent for NBC News from 1994 to 1999 and anchored The Weekend Today Show. One of the original on-air faces at Court TV from 1991 to 1994, Ford returned in June 2004 and now co-anchors Banford & Ford: Courtside, which airs weekdays 1-3 PM ET on Court TV (http://www.courttv.com). Co-hosted with the University of Virginia School of Law.
