Intrigued by the Bush administration’s invasion of Iraq, journalist PETER BEINART examines what he considers to be important precedents of U.S. foreign policy overreach in his book, “The Icarus Syndrome.” Currently editor-at-large of the New Republic and a nonresident fellow at the Brookings Institution, Beinart is also an associate professor at the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism and Graduate Center. Beinart also writes a monthly column for The Washington Post. A book signing will follow his Forum.
