Bruce Springsteen, an iconic American voice, returns to the American Dream in his new album Western Stars. His five-decade obsession with dreams of work, love, and escape has always been connected to real moments in our political—and presidential—history. In a unique concert film, Springsteen performs the album in front of friends in a century-old barn, with his personal narration woven in to the story of the songs.

Zimny also directed Wings for Wheels: The Making of 'Born to Run' (2005), The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town (2010), and Bruce Springsteen: A Conversation with His Fans (2011). He was the editor for the first three seasons of The Wire.
