An expert panel discusses the historic Supreme Court 5–4 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade. They examine the altered abortion landscape, how we got here, and what the ruling means for both the future of reproductive health and the direction of the U.S. Supreme Court. This event is part of the Miller Center’s new Health Policy Initiative and features Barbara Perry, director of Presidential Studies at the Miller Center and a SCOTUS expert; Naomi Cahn, a professor of law at the University of Virginia and a legal expert on reproductive health; and Margaret Foster Riley, a professor of law at UVA Law School, the Dorothy Danforth Compton Professor at the Miller Center, professor of public health sciences at the UVA School of Medicine, and professor of public policy at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.

This event is co-sponsored by UVA's Miller Center and the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.
