Source The White House

President Joe Biden gives his farewell address from the Oval Office of the White House. He begins by telling the history of the Statue of Liberty and what she represents. He then lists many of his administration's accomplishments, including the economic recovery after the pandemic, infrastructure improvements, Medicare reform, and gun-safety legislation. Biden then warns the American people about the tech-industrial complex and the oligarchy taking shape in the country: power concentrated in the hands of a few, very wealthy individuals. He details the threats that this oligarchy presents to the country, by feeding disinformation and discouraging Americans from participating in society. He ends by thanking the American people for allowing him the great honor of being president.
