In his third State of the Union address, President George W. Bush devotes a large portion of his speech to the situation in Iraq. Almost a year since the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Bush is confident that the world is a safer place without Saddam Hussein’s regime and that the U.S. and its allies will continue the fight against global terrorism.  He also gives his thoughts on improving the economy, the No Child Left Behind Act, and the Defense of Marriage Act.
