Kennedy, Attorney General Robert Kennedy, Assistant Attorney General from the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division Burke Marshall, Assistant Special Counsel to the President Lee C. White, and Special Counsel to the President Theodore Sorensen. The discussion provides an overview of civil rights legislative proposals (accommodations, schools, federal jobs) and the political fights they will cause in Congress and with the states.
