Who develops and applies the key words with which we choose our food and understand its qualities? This panel will explore the historical and contemporary efforts to distinguish “natural” and “organic” foods from adulterated products. Participants will include SAMUEL FROMARTZ, freelance journalist and author of “Organic, Inc.,” and BENJAMIN COHEN, assistant professor at Lafayette College and former director of U.Va.’s Food Collaborative.
