Using material from their newly published volumes — the first in the groundbreaking series, The Presidential Recordings: Lyndon B. Johnson — three editors of the Miller Center's Presidential Recordings Program ("PRP") will play and discuss the secretly recorded tapes that captured the aftermath of the John Kennedy assassination. Reviewing highlights from Johnson's dramatic first 10 weeks in office will be Kent B. Germany, LBJ Project Coordinator and assistant professor at the Miller Center; and David Shreve, assistant professor at the Miller Center.
