Special Program:  As part of U.Va.'s convocation celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Miller Center will host a program exploring Dr. King's private thoughts and public writings. Speakers will include KENT GERMANY, associate professor of history and African American studies at the University of South Carolina, and MICHELE RUBIN, who represents Dr. King's literary estate. Germany’s most recent publication is "The Presidential Recordings of Lyndon B. Johnson, Digital Edition: Lyndon B. Johnson and Civil Rights." Rubin is a senior agent at Writers House, a literary agency.
