Arnold Frutkin joined NASA a few months after its inception in 1959 and spent almost 20 years as a senior staff member with responsibility for its international programs and as a witness to the development of and debates on the manned space programs. He will discuss questions that need to be raised regarding the future of the shuttle and manned flight itself.
