Steven Rhoads, the author of Taking Sex Differences Seriously (2005), has taught public policy in the Politics Department at the University of Virginia for more than thirty years. During the past fifteen years he has studied sex differences and their importance for an understanding of many contemporary cultural and policy issues. While one reviewer calls Rhoads "a rising star of the conservative movement," Rhoads insists he is the real feminist. "We should," he argues, "give renewed respect to" women who "want to raise their children at home."
