William Quandt is vice provost for international affairs and Edward R. Stettinius, Jr., Professor in the Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics at the University of Virginia specializing in American foreign policy in the Middle East. Dr. Quandt is a frequent contributor to academic journals and served as a consultant to ABC News during the Gulf War. He is also the author of several books on politics and American diplomacy in the Middle East.
