Dr. Gazewood, Harrison Teaching Assistant Professor in Generalist Medicine, joined the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1997 after completing a geriatrics fellowship and earning an M.S.P.H. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He has written widely on chronic diseases.
