William Quandt is the Edward R. Stettinius professor of politics and vice provost for International Affairs at the University of Virginia. Dr. Quandt served as a staff member on the National Security Council and was actively involved in the negotiations that led to the Camp David Accords and the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty. He is one of the country's foremost authorities on the Middle East.
