Professor Bacevich serves as director of the Center for International Relations at Boston University. He is the author and editor of several books, the most recent being American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of U. S. Diplomacy and The Imperial Tense: Prospects and Problems of American Empire. His articles and reviews have appeared in a variety of scholarly and general interest publications.
