Gordon Walker has been the executive director and CEO of the Jefferson Area Board for Aging for 20 years. In addition, he is a member of the Albemarle County School Board and an adjunct professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Virginia. In 1995, Mr. Walker was appointed to the White House Conference on Aging. He has also been associate director of the Georgia State University Gerontology Center, a legislative aide to the U.S. Senate Committee on Aging, and deputy director of the Vermont Department of Aging.

Harrison Bright Rue is executive director of the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission and the Charlottesville-Albemarle MPO, as well as founder of the Citizen Planner Institute.

Richard W. Lindsay is Professor Emeritus of internal medicine and family practice and former head of the section of geriatric medicine at the University of Virginia.
